General information only
WattFirst is the trading name used by this website. This site publishes general information about home energy technology in the United Kingdom. It is not regulated financial advice, not tax advice, and not an engineering specification for any particular property.
Estimates and their limits
Calculator outputs are estimates presented as ranges. In the current version of the site they are illustrative figures produced by a placeholder model, labelled as such wherever they appear. You should not commit to a purchase on the basis of these figures alone.
Third parties
We do not currently introduce visitors to installers, specialists or comparison services. If we do so in future, your contract for those services will be with that provider and not with us: we would not carry out their work and could not guarantee it.
Accuracy and changes
This site is an early prototype and its figures are illustrative placeholders rather than researched values. Energy prices, grants and standards also change frequently. We intend to review content regularly and correct errors in place, but we cannot warrant that any figure is accurate or current.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for decisions made solely in reliance on general guidance published here without professional survey or advice.
